The Fillmore is a concert venue I have attended once. At this said occasion, the artist performing was Osamason. Right before his set was about to start, my friend and I had to use the restroom badly. This drawing exaggerates what I saw.
I also titled this art piece Rage Muck for a couple of different reasons. I see a lot of negative feedback regarding underground rap music and the heavy bass sound that a lot of artists go for, often referring to the music as Rage slop. I wanted to capture how I felt about those words in an art piece.
Explanation of Drawing:
The illustration takes place inside a bathroom, specifically at the venue “Fillmore” in Charlotte. Towards the top of the art piece is a crowd of concertgoers that are only visible because of how dilapidated the Restroom is. The people inside the restroom consist of four characters. A crying baby, A portrait of myself near the top right, a man missing the lower half of his body, and a man being impaled by a spike. Havoc.
